About Charles
I consider myself a Life Cartographer, of sorts. "What is a Life Cartographer," you ask yourself? I have often struggled to express what I do in a way that is not easily stereotyped. The fact of the matter is that this world is a complicated place, whether you are a person of deep faith or still seeking. And I feel that people should be fairly treated, as sensible adults, not as children.
As such, my goal as a Life Cartographer is to help our community navigate the maps that are our lives. We do this with the wealth of knowledge provided through God's memos to us, commonly called the Bible. But I can only help navigate the map, perhaps point out some of the details. The choices a person makes are theirs alone.
As a Life Cartographer, I try to be faithful in demonstrating the ancient teachings found in the Scriptures. Scriptures through which men and women throughout history have encountered the living God. It is my deepest desire to know this God, through Jesus Christ, in such a personal and intimate way that I am best able to help others navigate their map.
